Range Rover Evoque 5 Door: The Video

Fri, 12 Nov 2010

The Range Rover Evoque 5 Door Video Although it’s good to see Land Rover being proactive with releasing information in response to web activity (the single image of the 5 door Evoque they released after it got papped at Paris, for example) we wonder if they’re in danger of having no dry powder left for the offical reveal of the 5 door Evoque at the LA Motor Show next month. Cadillac 2014 ELR [w/Gallery]

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Cadillac unveils the 2014 ELR today at the North American International Auto Show. The new luxury coupe is almost unchanged from the Converj Concept - unveiled at the 2009 NAIAS - upon which it is based and features Cadillac's signature vertical headlamps and rear lamps. The flush fascia and grille – with active shutters behind the grille opening – combined with tapered fascia corners and a raked windshield mean that drag is reduced to 0.305.

Concept Car of the Week: Toyota EX-1 (1969)

Not happy to have created automotive perfection with the latter, the Japanese brand went on to explore even more extravagant shapes and unveiled the first of the EX concepts series in 1969. While its bold lines are truly Japanese, the EX-1 looked like the missing link between the fast silhouette of a 1967 Maserati Ghibli and the hairy-chested heft of a Dodge Challenger.
