Chicago, Illinois, United States
Condition:New Brand:For Saab Manufacturer Part Number:Replace # 55556492

This is NOT the genuine part. Its a very easy modification, cut off old hose and push on to new valve, change two wire plug.
Old Saab 9-5s (MY05-10) just DONT seem to respond well to the tried and true shock therapy (shot of WD and a few smacks) that worked for earlier valves. And the price (over $300) and availability (back-ordered) for genuine 55556492???? If your car shows a P0455 code and the EVAP Purge Valve is NOT PULSING???....Buy this NEW EVAP PURGE VALVE from a Saab Sport Sedan (that rarely fails) and adapt it easily to a 9-5. Instructions included.

JLR Factory plans on track – Sunday Times story rejected

Mon, 19 Apr 2010

JLR's UK restructuring is on track despite the stories in this weekend's press Back in September, JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) announced that it intended closing one of its Midlands factories as part of a long-term plan to breathe new life in to the future of JLR. We dutifully reported that but confess we took the easy ‘Bad News’ tack on the story. It was obvious; JLR are closing a factory ergo bad news.

Volkswagen XL Sport Concept gets Ducati power: Paris 2014

Thu, 02 Oct 2014

The Volkswagen XL Sport Concept (pictured) gets Ducati power The Volkswagen XL 1 may well be an impressive ‘Supercar’ (that’s super-economical, rather than plain ‘super’), but it’s a daft amount of money and, unless you’re trying to make a ‘Green’ statement, not for everyone. But this Volkswagen XL Sport Concept is a more appealing car – both visually and mechanically – as VW take the XL 1 and rework it in to a sports car with a little help from Ducati. Because under the skin of the XL Sport lies a 197bhp V2 that’s come from Ducati (just as we reported a year ago) and delivers 197bhp through a seven-speed dual-clutch ‘box, with a reduction gear between engine and gearbox to boost torque, revs to 1,000 rpm and can get to 62mph in 5.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 157mph.
