About the Car:

Most of these parts came from a 1994 Saab 900 S Coupe. It had 140,000 miles on it and the rear shock mounts on the body were rotted out. I drove the car about 15 miles on the highway and the only complaints where the shocks and the engine overheating. Otherwise, the interior of the car was in better than average condition, the engine sounded fine and pulled strong, and overall was pretty nice, given the issues.

I don't do this for a business, but I have personally owned six Saabs of this vintage and post periodically to a few Saab enthusiast sites. It is a long chain of events as to how I got involved with this generation of Saab 900s. Comes down to the cost of maintaining a foreign car that is expensive to repair unless you learn to do it yourself. I always figure that the worst thing that can happen is that I have to take it to a mechanic if I can't do it myself.

I have had a 1996 900 S, that I drove for a number of years and now a 1998 900 SE that, with the help of a Saab mechanic, swapped engines and converted it to a manual. I also flipped a '96 900 that was offered to me so cheap that I couldn't turn it down. I've parted out two convertibles (both for parts that I needed or for the engine) and now this coupe, so I'm pretty knowledgable about the car's quirks. Feel free to ask me any questions. I can give you advice from experience and/or point you in the right direction.

Return Policy:

I do my best to research the parts and their compatibility with other models/years.
If I make a mistake in the listing or shipping I will refund the price and pay shipping both ways for just refund your money depending upon the cost to me.
If you make a mistake and want to return it—you pay shipping both ways plus 25% of the part's cost, or $5 (whichever is greater), to cover my fees and time. And I'll probably still give you a good rating for being a good sport.

About Me:
I offer Saab parts and other items from time to time depending upon job situation, my car, and if I need to get rid of something that I think someone might want.
If you have any problems just let me know. I pack really well and value my rating.

Subaru Impreza STI Cosworth (2010): first teaser photo

Thu, 11 Feb 2010

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 11 February 2010 15:40 Subaru has whet the appetite of hot hatch fans with this annoyingly restricted teaser shot of a new collaboration with Cosworth: the new Impreza STI wearing a Cossie badge. The company calls it 'a special one-off project', but the project appears to shun Prodrive who have fettled many of the go-faster official Subaru Imprezas of the past decade.Subaru Impreza STI Cosworth: what else do we know?Very little. Only a short marketing blurb was issued today, giving away no further facts. Here's what they told us:'Two of the biggest names in automotive performance have come together to work on a special one-off project, and the result promises to be truly staggering. Subaru UK and Cosworth have enhanced the performance, handling and styling of the acclaimed Impreza STI, creating a car that will raise the bar for all-wheel-drive, high-performance motoring.

Vauxhall Ampera: Try for 30 days – and then give it back

Thu, 20 Dec 2012

Vauxhall are offering buyers of the range extender Ampera the chance to buy risk free for 30 days and return the Ampera. So in an effort to get more car buyers looking seriously at the Vauxhall Ampera range-extender, Vauxhall have come up with a scheme to allow Ampera buyers to grab a new Ampera, try it for 30 days and then give it back if they don’t get on with it. It’s a clever scheme, because the Ampera is a good car.
