Sabelt TI-301 Drivers Nomex Racing Suit, FIA 8856-2000, SFI 3.2a

The Sabelt TI-301 Nomex suit is very lightweight made of the finest materials for the best in driver protection.  The same quality control and features are used in the TI-301 suit as those in the more expensive Sabelt suits.  The material and design of the ultra flat seams are inline with the best high level suits.

Sabelt quality control is second to none.  Keeping true to high expectations of top level Sabelt does their own in-house testing for flame exposure and heat transmission.  Each new batch of fabric is tested and a sample of each piece.  No recycled Nomex is used on Sabelt suits.

The TI-301 series suit quality one or more levels above what you pay for compared to the competition.  The competition is generally only a 2 layer suit.  Not 3 Layer construction like the Sabelt suits.  With a 3 layer construction you have the advantage of better fire protection and not having to wear additional fire retardant underwear to meet rules and regulations of the sanctioning body you race with.

MINI: Meet the MINI Family Video

Wed, 30 Mar 2011

MINI sends us a 2011 family video Many moan that MINI has become a parody under BMW, but the truth is that it’s just become an enormous success with BMW doing what BL tried to do a generation ago – and failed. BL failed to grow and develop the Mini beyond the 1960s, although it had success in the ’60s with badge-engineered Minis (Riley Elf, Wolsely Hornet), Mini Coopers and Countrymans, and even a grown-up Mini – the Austin/Morris 1100. So BMW are really only carrying on what BL did in the ’60s, just in spades.

Google reveals its first self-driving car prototype (video)

Wed, 28 May 2014

Google’s first self-driving car prototype (pictured) Google might not be the first company that springs to mind as a car maker, but Tesla has already proved that Silicon Valley can produce a car that buyers want and Google are intent on following a similar route. But where Tesla’s USP is its long-range electric capabilities – and a desire to build cars for the market – Google’s goal is more technology orientated and is all about developing self-driving car technology that works in the real world. For the last few years, Google has been experimenting with existing cars kitted out with self-driving gubbins, but now they’ve taken the next step and built their own self-driving prototype.

Mercedes C-class (2007): first official pictures

Thu, 18 Jan 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 18 January 2007 07:00 Mercedes-Benz C-class: the lowdown This is the most important launch in Merc's diary this year - the all-new C-class. It's charged with bringing the compact exec bang up to date and giving it (Mercedes hopes) the edge over the BMW 3-series that's snatched class honours in recent years. There's a sharp new look, that's definitely pilfered some design cues from the S-class limo, plus a raft of new engines and some pretty nifty gadgets.
