The Sabelt TI-331 Nomex suit is very lightweight made of the finest materials for the best in driver protection. The same quality control and features are used in the TI-331 suit as those in the more expensive Sabelt suits. The material and design of the ultra flat seams are inline with the best high level suits.

Sabelt quality control is second to none. Keeping true to high expectations of top level Sabelt does their own in-house testing for flame exposure and heat transmission. Each new batch of fabric is tested and a sample of each piece. No recycled Nomex is used on Sabelt suits.

Jaguar Land Rover raise £500 million to fund expansion

Fri, 23 Mar 2012

Jaguar Land Rover raise £500 million Jaguar Land Rover is raising £500 million on the bond market to fund its expansion, including new models and new facilities. Hot on the heels of the Jaguar Land Rover joint venture deal with Chery in China comes the news that Jaguar has dipped in to the private bond market to raise £500 million to help with its bold and bullish plans to make JLR a major world player in the premium vehicle sector. JLR plans to invest £1.5 billion a year on expansion and is making sure its coffers can cope by issuing £500 million of senior notes due in 2020, with the net proceeds of the bonds being used for general corporate purposes.

BMW Toyota diesel engine deal not for Lexus

Sun, 18 Dec 2011

Lexus won't get BMW diesel engines despite the Toyota deal The deal for BMW to supply Toyota with diesel engines for its range in Europe will not extend to Lexus models. The deal for BMW to supply diesel engines to Toyota for Europe (and joint work on advanced lithium ion battery technology) makes a lot of sense. BMW’s diesel engine are possibly the best there are, and Toyota need good diesel offerings in Europe to mop up sales.

Essex boost for car loving home buyers

Sun, 31 May 2009

An Essex council is to make garages and drives bigger on new homes For most of the last decade the UK Government has waged a war on the motorist. Endless speed cameras, which are in reality just tax-raising  machines and have little to do with road safety; never-ending fuel tax rises; congestion charging; spiralling parking charges; road-charging schemes and the only coppers you see have a speed gun so non-speeding untaxed and uninsured drivers never get caught -  pushing up costs for the rest of us. But one of the most stupid, head-in-the-sand policies was the idea that new houses should encourage people to forsake their cars by making garages too small and off-street parking almost non-existent.
