There Back!! I have looked high and low for these, and could not find them, so I now manufacture them. The Spindrift Enterprises "Black Cat" Line of Sail Tell Tales are now available in packs of 14.  These black Tell Tales are really the best choice for sails with or without pocket windows to be able to see the leeward, or the opposite side of the sail. These are made of ripstop nylon, both the adhesive patch and streamer. I have found through the years the ripstop adhesive is really the best.  I can make the adhesive circles in white Dacron, upon request. Thanks for looking..

They measure:
Patches, approx. 1-1/2 inches in diameter,
with slit cut for streamer
Streamer, approx. 12 inches long by 1/2 inch Wide

Packs of 14 with placement instructions included

The Mini is 50 years old today

Fri, 08 May 2009

Today - 08/05/2009 - is the 50th anniversary of the first Mini rolling off the production line. To celebrate, and for a bit of free publicity (see, we’re playing the game) BMW has shipped the first Mini to roll of the production line back to Cowley to celebrate (picture at the bottom). 621 AOK, a Mini Minor, in Old English White, looks as fresh as the day it rolled off the production line half a century ago (although I wouldn’t mind betting it doesn’t have it’s original sills – they always rusted through – or copes with its original distributor and leads – one splash of rain and the car ground to a halt!).

13 scary cars for Halloween

Fri, 29 Oct 2010

In honor of the Halloween weekend, AutoWeek presents 13 (of course!) of the scariest cars of all time, as chosen by various staffers who cared to participate. Enjoy! 1958 Plymouth Fury from Christine, (1983) This car comes from back when movies of Stephen King books were good.
