I was told that this mast and boom is from a Columbia 26. I cannot verify, but, it's a nice mast for your boat project, if you need one about this size. It's just over 32 feet in length, with a 14 foot boom. The cross section measures 5-3/4 x 4 inches. Includes attached rigging, spreaders, (after thinking about the spreaders and stuff, it looks like the spreaders themselves, are taped to the mast for transport, and what I thought that was a spreader of sorts, is actually a truss of some sort to support the mast from bending too much, if the wind picks up??) so take that into account when you look at the pictures, please.    Feel free to ask any questions. I have not tested the light to see if it works or not. Also, the boom has a "roller reefing goosneck" (pull the boom out slightly, roll the sail around the boom to make the sail smaller). This will be for free pick-up, I can deliver to the Green Bay, or Appleton Wisconsin area for free, or, even to the Chicago area for the gas money. Sorry, but that's the best that I can do at this price. No other shipping. This will be a "No Reserve" price. PayPal only. In addition...It is unknown if additional hardware is needed to mount this mast. (step it) I would advise to look at the pictures with a magnifying glass. What you see in the pictures, is what you will get.

New vehicle labels to compare fuel economy, emissions with U.S. average

Wed, 25 May 2011

Window sticker labels will show how new vehicles' fuel economy and emissions levels compare with the U.S. fleet average starting in the 2013 model year, the Obama administration said Wednesday. The new federal rules carry out a 2007 law that requires labels to put new vehicles in fleetwide context for fuel economy, greenhouse gases and smog-forming pollutants.
