Selling the complete rig shown above from the deck upwards.  This is an AMERICAN 14 built 1977.  Sails are in good used condition, no repairs or holes that I have seen.  Mast is straight but does have a chip from the bottom.  It still sits perfectly in the mast step so has never needed to be repaired.   If you were changing the rigging to a different boat, the mast could be shortened y 1 inch and the chip would be gone.  Mast is 20" 2" and has a cross section of 2 1/8 by 2 3/4 inches.  There are three stays that support the mast, one front and two side stays.   All those riggings are stainless and are in good usable condition.   Boom has a cross section of 1 7/8 by 2 3/8 inches and has few scrapes on the rear, but it is straight and functions well.   Main sail measures 14 ft (luff)     8"11" (foot)     and 17' ( leech).  JIb measures   14' (luff)   6'10"  (foot) and  15'2"   (leech).   Pickup only unless buyer makes all shipping arrangements.  I would charge $30 to wrap this in cardboard if it were going in a truck for YOUR SHIPPING ARRANGEMENT.  If a plywood crate would be required, there would be an additional charge.    I would be willing to meet buyer a reasonable distance (EMAIL ME ABOUT THIS) for gas money.   PICKUP in Wis Dells, WI area.  THIS IS FOR SALE LOCALLY, SO IF IT SELLS I WILL CANCEL THE AUCTION.

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

Jaguar Land Rover SVO Pebble Beach debuts include the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 Jaguar Land Rover’s new Special Operations Division may only just have come in to being, but that’s not stopping them delivering three cars for their North American debut at the Pebble Beach Event later this month. First of the SVO cars on show will be the new Range Rover Sport SVR, Land Rover’s most extreme performance car to date, which has just run the Nurburgring in a record time for an SUV (although we’re not sure many buyers will really care) and which should find a ready market in the US. Second of the SVO cars is the new Jaguar F-Type Project 7, which with its open-topped default mode will doubtless have American buyers from the sunny states opening their cheque books on sight.
