You are bidding on a NOS switch for the elusive, extremely sought after Salsbury M85 scooter. The picture of the actually scooter is only to sucker you in (LOL).

 This auction is only for one switch. One picture shows the original switch right above the new switch, which is installed in the dashboard. The switch has a slightly larger mounting nut and for it to screw into position you will have to slightly file of the sharp corners of the mounting nut, not much, just a bit.

I learned that this switch actually switches "the other way", it has no continuity in off position and it has continuity the on position. Key can be removed only in the off position and not in the on position. So, it looks the same as a Salsbury switch, mounts the same, but you have to run the bike in the "off" position of the switch and you turn the bike off in the "on" position.

The production version of the Mercedes GLA Concept (pictured) will debut at Frankfurt 2013 It’s only three months since the new Mercedes GLA debuted at the Shanghai Motor Show as a concept, but it’s already close to arriving in production guise. In fact, it looks like the new GLA – based on the new Mercedes A-Class underpinnings – will arrive in production form at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, ahead of going on sale in early 2014. The new GLA is aimed squarely at the competition from the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, and if it delivers as well as the A-Class has it stands a very good chance of becoming the pick of the premium compact SUVs.

Fans of the iconic Dodge Charger muscle sedan have been eagerly awaiting details on the upgrades for the 2011 model year. And today, this latest hunk of Mopar muscle is being revealed in its most buttoned-down form--the police package. Just one fairly vague picture has been revealed, but as expected, the Charger will get Chrysler's Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine.

Volkswagen has just announced that Walter de'Silva, 55, has been appointed Head of Volkswagen Group Design. Since March 2002, de'Silva has been Head of Design at the now discontinued Audi brand group. There, in addition to supervising the Audi brand design, he was also in charge of Seat and Lamborghini.
