DIGGER BOAT & PONTOON ANCHOR

The Digger Boat Anchor is one of the most heavy duty& innovative anchors on the market! Some call it the “weedless anchor” as it is designed to drop all of the weeds off in the water very easily so they don’t end up in your boat.

It is already in the dig position once it is dropped in the water and ready to go! The design has changed and evolved over time to provide the most responsive and effective anchor that you're able to get for your boat or pontoon

BENEFITS:

No chain needed!
Grabber cleats on the anchor place pressure downwards to keep digging down if the weather is undesirable and the boat continues to move
Works with a 4:2 to 5:1 scope unlike others that require 7:1 scope or higher

FEATURES:

Easily digs deep into sand, weeds and mud to hold the boat in place
Releases with a quick jerk on the top of the rope
Durable and rust resistant
Powder coated castings
Aluminum tube that encases the internal parts of the anchor
Zinc plated loops and eye hooks

Northumbria University degree show 2009

Fri, 26 Jun 2009

Newcastle and cars: for many, that phrase brings to mind the 1971 British cult gangster movie ‘Get Carter', starring Michael Caine. The city isn't obviously associated with cars and the Trinity Centre car park famously used in the movie is about to be demolished as part of major regeneration work that the city has seen over the last 15 years. Northumbria University's magnificent new School of Design, which opened just two years ago, is a typical example of the exciting architecture now emerging in this city and CDN decided to pay a visit to catch up with this fast-developing UK design school.

BMW X1 – Lego Edition

The full size BMW X1 created in Lego by children in Munich I played with Lego when I was small. My children played with Lego when they were small. And it would seem that even though we assume that today’s children spend their whole life immersed in a virtual world of gaming and the interweb, they do still play with Lego.

Jaguar F-Type CRASH!

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

The new Jaguar F-Type hasn’t hit the road yet – in fact very few outside Jaguar have been behind the wheel – but one has already crashed. The new Jaguar F-Type hasn’t started to hit Jaguar showrooms yet, and very few have been driven by anyone outside Jaguar. Jaguar have been letting a few ‘names’ loose in the F-Type for a bit of PR, like Le Mans driver Andy Wallace and Martin Brundle, but most of the ‘press’ play with the F-Type has been in the passenger seat.
