McLaren 12C Spider teased

McLaren has started to tease the 12C Spider – the convertible 12C – ahead of full details in the next few days. We’ve know that a convertible version of the McLaren MP4-12C – the 12C Spider – has been on the way for some time, but now it’s almost here. We thought McLaren would just come out and introduce the 12C Spider, but they can’t resist teasing, although we wonder if  McLaren might be trying to take some of the gloss off the UK debut of the Ferrari 458 Spider at Goodwood this weekend by revealing the 12C Spider before the end of the Goodwood weekend?.

Great Wall Motors' Haval Coupe concept heading to Beijing

Great Wall Motors will show the Haval Coupe concept at the upcoming Beijing motor show, an event that looks set to be dominated by this SUV crossover segment.Very few details and only these images of the car in a dark studio so it's impossible to comment on the work of recently-appointed GWM design director Pierre Leclercq, designer of the BMW X6. Mercedes-Benz's triple triumph at 2011 Automotive Brand Contest

Mercedes-Benz has scooped three first prizes at this year's Automotive Brand Contest. The competition's jury selected Mercedes-Benz's design team as ‘Team of the Year', while the Mercedes-Benz CLS was given the award for ‘Best of Best' in the exterior category. The interior of the Concept A-Class also picked up the award for ‘Best of Best'.
