Up for sale here is a nice used 5" heat exchanger w/ reservoir for a closed cooling system. This came with a Mercruiser 4.3 chevy V-6, but seemed kind of large for it, so am thinking it could be used with the small block chevy V-8 engines and possibly big block as well. Their are 5 hose connectors on it and 4 of them measure 1" in diameter and the 5 th one measures 1-3/4" in diameter. I am pretty sure this will cool complete engine and exhaust manifolds as well, and the main cooling part measures 5" in diameter and 18" long, and the reservoir measures approx. 4" in diameter and 10" long. I gave it a fresh paint job, so it looks pretty decent, but not perfect.. It has a couple very minor shallow dings on outer housing, and it needs a new pencil zinc installed in it, but otherwise looks very clean inside with all cooling tube passages are clear. This will probably fit a wide variety of engines, but please do your research before purchasing. This is kind of heavy since it is made out of copper and brass, so shipping charges reflect this. Shipping charges are for the lower 48 states, so email for prices to Alaska and Hawaii, and other US territories.    Thank-you for looking!

Korean Grand Prix (2011) RESULT

Sun, 16 Oct 2011

Korean Grand Prix 2011 Last year’s Korean Grand Prix was more like a jaunt on the Solent than an F1 race, but the weather was a little more forgiving for the 2011 F1 Grand Prix, in the middle of nowhere in southern South Korea. Lewis Hamilton had obviously given himself a good talking to – or someone else had – as he displayed controlled aggression, and consummate skill, to take pole in Korea after his dismal series of performances of late. But all that effort was for nought as new world champion Vettel put him firmly in his place on the very first lap, never to look back.
