Ariel Atom 3.5R police car joins UK Constabulary
Thu, 05 Jun 2014We never pictured the Ariel Atom as a police car, but now that Ariel Motors has actually equipped one with all the appropriate police gear, it makes perfect sense. But instead of competing for bragging rights for the most powerful cars in the range, this year's motor show afforded automakers an opportunity to showcase their environmental credentials and their latest 'innovative' powertrain technologies.

Nearly 30,000 spectators came to the two-day event in 1957, and race organizers were expecting even more in 1958.
