 Matching pair of "GM  MOTORSPORTS" GM RACING CNC ported Small Block Chevy SB2.2 aluminum cylinder heads. This is a matching assembly that came from the GM  Motorsports Nascar team. The heads are completely assembled with Del West titanium 2.180" o.d. intake and 1.625" o.d. exhaust valves, PSI Max Life polished valve springs, Del West titanium retainers, T&D shaft mounted aluminum rocker arms that are mounted on aluminum stands. The stands are drilled and have oil spray jets installed in them to cool the valve springs (see the attached photos). Includes a matching CNC ported/hand finished GM 048 aluminum intake manifold and GM cast aluminum valve covers.These heads make well over 850 horsepower on a 358 c.i. engine. These heads have matching serial numbers that show that they are a matched set. The GM casting numbers for the heads are 12480011.These heads have been crack checked and pressure tested--ok. These heads are in good NEW condition. These heads Flows 400 CFM .We are told that the new cost on these heads with all of the CNC and hand finished port work, titanium valves,springs, rockers, etc... is well over $16,000.00 per set with parts. University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2008

Destinations, the graduate show of the Transport Design degree course at the University of Huddersfield, showed projects created by graduating students earlier this summer as part of the School of Art and Design's Graduate Show week, and also at the New Designers exhibition held in London's Business Design Centre. While a significant proportion of the course is orientated towards automotive exterior and interior design, projects also allow for a wider interpretation of transport design including boats, public transport, trucks and motorcycles as well as more conceptual approaches towards transport issues of the future. This year's graduates investigated a large range of themes and produced a variety of design solutions.

Antique Automobile Club of America celebrates 75th anniversary

The 15 founders of the Antique Automobile Club of America would be proud: The organization's membership has grown to nearly 60,000 since the club launched in 1935. And to celebrate its 75th anniversary, the AACA will hold a four-day celebration, June 30-July 3, in Louisville, Ky. A car show on the last day will be the spotlight event, and more than 600 vehicles spanning more than a century will be displayed.

Mazda's design and engineering team in Germany has taken the MX-5 roadster and boiled it down to its pure speedster form to create the Superlight concept. We'll get a close look at the car at the Frankfurt motor show. Some changes are obvious.
