“This is a set of nice used set of Shaver Cosworth forged aluminum pistons for Small Block Chevy 400 engine. These pistons came out of the estate of a long time racer and machine shop owner. The part number on the underside of 7 of the pistons is PA0540/9 and the 8th piston is PA0540/10. The pistons are identical. I think the part number difference is because they were from different production runs. All I know about these pistons is they are for standard bore SBC 400 engines. They are in very good shape as shown. There are no pins included. This is a very nice set of high end forged pistons.”

We had our doubts that the Renault Alpine A110-50 photo we published earlier this week was real, but it seems it was; which goes to show we should really lock up our scepticism more securely. And now, as promised, Renault has revealed their first Alpine in almost twenty years in the A110-50, a car that has the underpinnings of the Megane Trophy and a body that seems to owe most of its DNA to the electric Renault DeZir Concept.

Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford outlined a plan this week to develop connected cars to combat congestion on the roads in the future. His speech at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain was the first ever to be delivered at the annual communications industry event by an automotive industry executive. TED was there to capture the event on video (see left).
