The SHP is cast from A356-T6 aluminum and designed to work with most off the shelf components, so you won’t need to worry about acquiring costly custom valve train components. Audi has dominated Le Mans for the past decade, but new-for-2014 rules allow for any engine size and configuration, and instead focus on energy consumption per lap. With the slate wiped clean, 2014 will be Porsche’s best chance to beat its fellow VW Group member, and the strong Toyota team.
GM to invest $230 million in four Michigan plants to build Chevrolet Volt, Cruze
Tue, 13 Oct 2009General Motors Co. said Tuesday it will invest more than $230 million in four plants around Flint, Mich., to help build the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze compact and the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid sedan. The move will restore about 500 jobs, GM said in a statement.
