Survey: Toyota, Honda, Ford are top brands for consumers
Thu, 08 Jan 2009Toyota, Honda and Ford rank as the best brands in consumers' minds, an annual Consumer Reports survey found. Toyota finished first for the third consecutive year of the study, which involved randomly questioning more than 1,700 U.S. adults in early December.

Ford, Hyundai, Toyota lead industry to 15 percent gain

Overall, December sales of 1,030,096 light vehicles rose 15 percent from December 2008, when the credit crisis and a deepening recession dragged industry demand to 27-year lows.
