Scarce 1950's Evinrude (or Johnson) Outboard Motor 4gal. Pressure Fuel Tank on 2040-parts.com
Pottstown, Pennsylvania, US
This is the less common 4 gallon tank that I believe came with 7 1/2hp models. They are popular for larger motors as well, where the smaller tank is wanted. Overall, it is a decent looking tank. It apparently has set outside and has gotten somewhat rusty on the outside. The interior seems very clean. There is a liberal length of fuel line that still seems useable. A basic diaphragm and gasket kit and connector should put it into service. Thanks for looking and bidding.

Mini E Racer (2010) takes on the Nurburgring
Wed, 14 Apr 2010In these days of 7min laps, rounding the Nurburgring in 10min hardly classes as electric. Unless you’re in a Mini E. A battery-powered baby BMW driven by ex-DTM racer Thomas Jäger turned in a 9m52 lap, hitting a heady – but presumably near silent – 116mph on the way.
Kia Picanto
Thu, 06 Jan 2011Kia is set to unveil its next generation Picanto city car at the Geneva motor show in March in the next step of its continual range overhaul. As these first images show, the diminutive A-segment hatchback has been totally redesigned to give it what Kia describes as a 'bolder, more mature and more self-confident look'. While the outgoing model's high H-point (and corresponding proportions) remain, its DRG has been brought further in-line with the rest of the Kia range, with Venga-referencing headlamp graphics, a 'tiger-nose' grille and a surprisingly dominant trio of faux air intakes.
Italian firm buys stake in Aston Martin
Fri, 07 Dec 2012The former owner of Italian motorcycle maker Ducati has bought a 37.5-percent stake in financially strapped British car maker Aston Martin. The move means future Astons could use modern drivelines and electric architectures from Mercedes-Benz's AMG division, insiders with knowledge of the deal suggest. Private equity fund Investindustrial has signed a memorandum of understanding with current Aston Martin owner Investment Dar of Kuwait that will see it pay $240 million (150 million pounds) for the ownership stake.
