Strip away the ice-racing livery – this is being presented as Alain Prost's ice slider for the 2011-12 Trophee Andros – and this is the new Dacia Lodgy, as revealed in our artist's impression. That unusual name signifies the budget brand's new small MPV, which could come to the UK. We won't see the new Lodgy in roadgoing spec until spring 2012, but we hear it could join the Dacia Duster and Sandero when UK sales begin next year.

New Subaru WRX teased ahead of Los Angeles Auto Show debut There’s still no guarantee that Subaru UK will import the new WRX and put it on sale in the UK, but the production version of the new WRX will be revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show this month to whet appetites. Shelby American is adding a little incentive to pick up one of its one-off Ford Mustang creations: Buyers won’t have to pay shipping on the 2012 Shelby GT350 and the 2007-12 Shelby GT500 Super Snake--as long as they order by July 31. Depending on where a buyer lives, that could be a savings of up to $1,500. For the uninitiated, Shelby American revamps almost everything mechanical on the Ford Mustang to create the GT350, including front and rear suspension, brakes and intake and exhaust systems.
