Ferrari has continued its teasing build up towards the reveal of its hybrid flagship supercar by showing off the car's advanced carbon tub chassis. The chassis, which employs four different types of carbonfibre, will be the central component of the V12 model, which will employ an F1-style KERS system and over 800bhp with which to challenge the McLaren P1. Production of Camaro convertible to start in 2011

Despite General Motors' current economic woes, production of a convertible version of the Chevrolet Camaro is on track to start in early 2011. That is later than the original plan of having the ragtop Camaro go into production early next year, a GM spokesman told Automotive News. But the program was not canceled, just delayed, the spokesman said.

The new 2.0 and 2.2-litre diesels feature a third generation common rail system with piezo-electric injectors to deliver fuel at 1800-bar. Fitted with a particulate trap as standard, the 2.0-litre unit develops 181bhp and 289lb ft, while the bigger 2.2-litre unit pumps out 197bhp and 335lb ft of torque.
