Thanks for looking!

This is a Scorpion EXO-900 Transformer Helmet in Extra Small. This amazing helmet transforms into multiple configurations, depending on your personal needs and weather conditions.   I bought a motorcycle on Craigslist from someone who got a gift:  motorcycle, two jackets, gloves and helmet.  They didn't want any of it and I picked up the whole package.  Thing is, the helmet and gloves are too small for me--my loss is your gain.  Buy the helmet and I'll throw in the gloves as a thank you gift!

Below, I'll list the manufacturer's description.  Here's what I'd say about it.  The helmet is in pristine condition.  It has an unscratched face shield which ratchets up neatly to different positions.  Inside, there is a sunglass-like shield that can be dropped into position or lifted out of view via a slide button on the outside of the helmet.    You can switch this helmet from a full face helmet to an open face 3/4 helmet very quickly and even customize the 'snugness' of the interior fit with the 'helmetpump'.  Sweet.  Only wish it fit me.

I'm giving you a great price on the helmet because it doesn't have tags.  You won't be disapointed at all with your purchase.  Ask any questions before purchase, because I don't do refunds unless you find I misrepresented the item.  I have  excellent reviews/ratings and I ship very quickl.  The manual and additional parts are included--event the warranty card.

From Amazon (where it sells for $269):

  • Full face helmet, a flip front modular and a 3/4 helmet, a true 3-in-1. Quickly convert your EXO-900 from a full face helmet to an open face 3/4 helmet - the peak sun visor is included
  • EverClear no-fog faceshield and retractable SpeedView sun visor. Optically correct, clear shield with state-of-the-art fog-free technology. Anti-scratch, hardened coating. Internal sun visor changes positions with the simple flip of a switch. Both faceshield and SpeedView sun visor feature toolless removal and installation for cleaning or replacement
  • KwikWick moisture-wicking, breathable helmet liner and cheek pads
  • Adjustable front and rear vents for maximum airflow
  • AirFit helmet pump air inflation system for a custom fit. Cheek pad and neck roll adjustment system for improved fit and wind noise reduction

(Of course, the stock photos are just for your reference; you'll receive the item in my photos.)

I don't do returns, unless we find I misrepresented the item.  Please  ask questions before you bid.

Thanks!

VW Passat: New distance world record

Mon, 04 Oct 2010

VW Passat World distance Record When you as old as I am (or at least as old as I feel) you can’t help but be astonished at the feats of economy car makers seem able to wring from even quite serious, upmarket cars. Yesterday we reported on the Mercedes S250 CDI which manages to perform like a 1990s V8 S-Class whilst simultaneously doing nearly 50mpg. Which to an old git like me – who thought his 3.0 litre Capri in his teen years was doing well if it got 18mpg – is a bit hard to acccept.

Saab €600 seeking million China Loan Victor Muller is seeking a €600 million loan from a Bank in China to allow Saab to survive and circumvent GM’s objection to Chinese ownership. We’re not sure if this is ‘Plan B’ or whether we’re way beyond that now. But the latest ‘Save Saab’ pitch from Victor Muller is to acquire a €600 million loan from a bank in China to save Saab.
