Scorpion
Yukon Pants The Scorpion Black Emperor Yukon Pants are the
companion to the Yukon Jacket. Using the same waterproof / breathable laminated
500 denier nylon exterior fabric and 1680 nylon reinforcing fabrics. Scorpion
has created a very durable and practical pants for all your exploration and
adventures. 1680 denier nylon material is on the knees and seat so
whether you are sitting on boulders taking in the view, or kneeling on the side
of the road fixing a flat you don’t need to worry about your gear. Large
leather reinforcements on inner knee all the way down to the ankle help you
grip the fuel tank, withstand the abuse of sharp footpegs, and prevent you from
melting the fabric on hot exhausts. Scorpion even reinforced the inside of the
lower legs to withstand the large buckles on your motocross or touring boots. Large areas of NightViz reflective material is found
on the bottom of the pant cuffs and on the thigh so you can be seen by other
motorists when seated. Large thigh pockets can be used to carry extra gloves or
tools. Strategically located vents on upper thank and back of leg work to dump
heat when the riding gets hard. Metal hook closure at the waistband means you
don’t need to worry about snaps popping open at inopportune times. Stretch
accordion gussets at knees and waistband assure the pants fit well and allow
for full range of motion when walking or sitting. Focus on your ride, not your riding gear. Features:

Bridgestone Potenza S001 – standard on 458 Italia & Rapide +video
Wed, 24 Feb 2010The Bridgestone Potenza S001 - as fitted to the Ferrari 458 Italia I think it must be a petrol-head thing, but we love tyres. Anything from a cross-ply to the latest high-performance job is a source of fascination. Our tyre fixation this last few months has been winter tryes, and we’ve told anyone who’d listen not to rush out and buy a 4×4 when the snow hit but to invest in a decent set of winter tyres.
SEMA's good, the bad and the ugly
Wed, 31 Oct 2007By Phil McNamara Motor Shows 31 October 2007 07:09 Dodge Charger It's Halloween today, so we thought we’d bring you some monsters from the SEMA show. Muscle cars dominate the world's biggest automotive accessories fair, and this Dodge Charger epitomises the wild style motors that pepper SEMA's 1m square feet of show floor. Created by King of Cars.com and Vertical Doors Inc, this Charger rolls on 26-inch rims which resemble a stainless steel lemon juicer.
BMW M5 F10M (2011) track test video
Wed, 11 May 2011BMW M has released new video footage of the upcoming F10M M5 performance testing at the BMW Miramas test centre in southern France. Is this BMW M5 video worth risking a sneaky peek at the office? If you like the M5 or fast cars in general, yes. Compared to previous entries in the M5 teaser video campaign this one shows the BMW M engineers creating enough wheelspin and oversteer to make us think that they're auditioning to work in the motoring media. The video, at nearly four minutes long, shows M5 prototypes largely stripped of camouflage sheeting being put through their paces on the test circuit, as well as undertaking some low speed incline testing on a 32 degree gradient. What we can see conforms with the M5 Concept shown at the 2011 Shanghai motor show.Apart from the aforementioned tyre abuse, you also get clear shots of the new M5's instrument panel, showing the M-DCT transmission's shift mode selector and adaptive damping display.
