Walter de'Silva awarded medal for special services to Bavaria

Volkswagen's head of group design was told in a letter from the Bavarian state minister of Federal and European Affairs Emilia Müller that he had "changed the form language and design culture of Germany as a vehicle designer," going on to praise his "outstanding achievement with the world-class company Audi". Rolls-Royce debuts Ghost Series II at Geneva motor show
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The Rolls-Royce Ghost has been with us for five years, and for 2015 the company has treated the sedan to a number of design tweaks inside and out, and has brought the refreshed Series II Ghost to the Geneva Motor Show this week. The changes to the outside are hard to spot at first, and Rolls-Royce readily admits that the revisions that have been made to the exterior are rather subtle. By far the most obvious visual difference, one that will help identify this as a Series II sedan, are the headlights which have been treated to a redesign, and are no longer perfectly rectangular.
Details of UK's £5000 Plug-In Car Grants published
Tue, 14 Dec 2010The Government has signed off the Plug-In Car Grants, giving details of which electric cars qualify for the £5000 grants. The incentive means that cars such as the Vauxhall Ampera will cost £28,995, GM confirmed today. Transport secretary Philip Hammond and business minister Mark Prisk announced the scheme and confirmed which areas will qualify for the second round of Plugged-In Places funding - allowing councils to install electric car recharging networks.
