Mercedes-Benz has released a video exploring the interior of its new A-Class featuring the designer who headed the project. Jan Kaul explains in the video how the inspiration behind the interior was the subject of aviation, the same inspiration that produced the Concept A-Class show car. "The theme running through the design of the A-Class was definitely ‘less is more,'" says Kaul.

China's Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts held its annual degree show in the school's Art Museum recently, showcasing the works of 16 transportation design students created over the course of the four year program. Divided into two parts, students were asked to design a solution for the increasing problems caused by the rapid development of car consumption in China. The projects consisted of a partnership project with Guangzhou Automobile Group Engineering Institute (GAEI) as well as the student's individual projects.

The latest generation of cars from Ingolstadt has finally mitigated the nose-heavy feeling we didn't enjoy in previous automobiles from the company. Now they've mitigated the lack of paintball guns, adding them to a pair of RS4 Avants -- done up in Spy-vs.-Spy black and white, natch -- and setting them loose in a hangar, framing the whole shebang with a smidge of Super Nintendo-vintage video-gaminess. Still no dice on getting one in the states, though.
