SCS PTC PACTOR II PRO Modem, PTC-IIpro, DSP Multimode Controller w/ Manual

This unit was removed from a working ICOM station.  I have only powered up the unit.  I took pictures of the self-test lights and display.  You can see the photos of the red and green lights and display, etc.  14-day returns accepted.  This is a very clean unit.  It looks almost new.

Includes:
- PTC-IIpro unit
- Original Users Manual for Version 3.2. Book is a little bent, but usable.
- 3 cables - note: each cable has a DIN 5 pole connector on one end.  The black cable has an 8 pin connector for and ICOM.  The other 2 gray cables have a small (maybe) PS/2 (older mouse type) connector.  I'd plan for new cables to suit your needs, but I'm sending these since they were hooked to it.

There are no other DIN or RS232 cables or software with the unit.  I also don't have a power supply connector that I can spare to send with it and no box.

Low starting price and no reserve.

Thanks for looking.  A dear friend of mine KB5WY is now a silent key and I'm helping his daughter sell some of his beloved equipment.  I will try my best to tell you everything I know about each of the item.  If I don't know.  I'll say so.  Please see my other items.  I'll be listing his stuff over the next few weeks.

Item for auction is guaranteed to be as described and his daughter wants to allow each item 14 days to check it out.  If something is wrong, I'll refund your money once the item is returned.  Bid with confidence.  Please ask any questions that you may have and I'll do my best to answer them.

Actual shipping charges will apply.  I don't make money from shipping.  No handling fees either.  PayPal only for payment please.

2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic revealed

Wed, 06 Apr 2011

The 2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic raises the bar on economy & emissions With the 2011 Ford Focus now hitting showrooms and the roads, we can start to look forward to the usual ‘secondary’ reveals for the range – the ‘Eco’ and the ‘Quick’. Next year should see the launch of the 2012 Focus ST, and it will definitely see the launch of the 2012 Ford Focus ECOnetic, details of which have been revealed this morning by Ford. Building on the previous Focus ECOnetcic, Ford has managed to take an axe to emissions (cutting them to just 95g/km) and to fuel usage (Ford reckons 80mpg) which is better than any other car in its sector in Europe.

Fiat Panda Aria and Grande Punto Abarth SS concepts

Mon, 17 Sep 2007

By Guy Bird Motor Shows 17 September 2007 02:50 Aria goes green, Abarth gets sporty, 500 goes large… Fiat’s signature white stand featured both ends of the car spectrum: From the eco Panda Aria concept to a new even sportier version of the Grande Punto, the Abarth SS prototype. It arguably had the best show stand gimmick at Frankfurt too – a giant Fiat 500 model the size of a two-storey building housing a monorail on which punters could ride life-size 500 cars around its innards – entered through the giant 500’s wheel arch. Anyway… what about this eco Panda thingy… Oh yes, the Fiat Aria ‘concept’ is subtle like that.

Car spending 'more than holidays'

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

NEARLY HALF of drivers in the UK spend more disposable income on their car than anything else, according to a survey. Spending on cars (47%) easily outweighs the amount spent on holidays (21%) and socialising with friends (13%), the poll from Halfords Autocentres showed. But the survey also found that 10% of drivers were cutting back on car maintenance to save money.
