Design Contest: Interior Motives Awards 2011

After individual deliberation by our panel of renowned senior designers, students being tutored at colleges in a diverse range of countries including Israel, the Czech Republic, Australia, Taiwan, Canada and China, as well as in the established centres of Europe, the USA and Japan/Korea, have made the 68-strong shortlist of potential winners. The minimalist trackday special will be one of a number of cars in which competitors will lock horns at the annual motorsport extravaganza at Wembley Stadium on 13-14 December. The X-Bow open cockpit will, according to RoC organisers Fredrik Johnsson and ex-rally ace Michele Mouton, allow spectators at the adrenalin-fuelled two-day event to see the world’s greatest drivers from Formula 1, World Rallying, World Touring Cars and the Le Mans 24 Hours in full-blooded action.
Gordon Murray Design's eight new models revealed

Seven are lightweight, low-emissions cars based on his radical new iStream manufacturing technique, and the last is a new supercar that he says will have 'an enormous amount in common' with his iconic McLaren F1.You read CAR's first full appraisal of the T25 in the new September 2010 issue of CAR Magzine, out on 18 August.
