Wed, 16 Jun 2010

The Panther Six - six-wheeled Hypercar - makes an appearance at Salon Prive It’s getting closer to Salon Privé 2010, that annual festival of all things ‘Super’ in cars at the Hurlingham Club, and this year there’s an extra reason to toddle along for a day of petrol and Champagne – The Concours Hypercar Class. Salon Privé has cobbled together an impressive array of Hypercars for a special ‘Hypercar Concours’ at this year’s event, including the rather spectacular ‘Lady Penelope-Style’ Panther Six. The Panther Six is a six wheeled, 1970s creation with a mid-mounted, 8.2 litre Cadillac V8 and a claimed 200+ mph top speed.

Porsche Cayenne based Eterniti Artemis production debut

Fri, 09 Nov 2012

The Eterniti Artemis – a titivated Porsche Cayenne – is shown in almost production-ready guise before a debut in Asia in 2013. Power comes from the same V8 Turbo the Cayenne Turbo gets, but Eterniti have tweaked it to deliver 600bhp and 750Nm of torque, despite which it’s no quicker than the £107k Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.

Porsche 960 & Porsche Pajun on the way

Thu, 19 Jul 2012

A Porsche source has confirmed that Porsche are working on a smaller Panamera – the ‘Pajun’ – and a mid-engined Porsche 960. Now that Porsche has finally become part of VW, it can move forward with its plans to fill every supercar niche in the same way Audi is in a mission to fill – and create – every premium car niche. With two new models already officially confirmed as on the way – the Porsche Macan (a smaller Cayenne) and the Porsche 918 – Porsche’s minds are now firmly focused on the next two new models from Stuttgart – the eighth and ninth models in the range.
