Thu, 08 Oct 2009The Chevrolet Camaro convertible is alive and well, and car dealers got a sneak peak at the new drop-top this week. Chevy vice president Brent Dewar said the company is still ironing out the timing for the launch of the open-air sports car. It's been reported that the car will go into production in early 2011.

Launched to an astonished public in 1961, the E-Type Jag offered the promise of 150mph performance, all wrapped up in a body so glorious even Enzo Ferrari was moved to call it “The most beautiful car in the World”. The E-Type stayed in production for 14 years, from the very first 3.8 litre flat-floor cars (a pain to drive) right the way through to the automatic V12 E-Types of 1974, which BLMC couldn’t give away.

Thu, 21 Feb 2013Deep in the heart of winter, Florida's Gold Coast becomes the “Center of the Universe” for Ferrari fanatics as thousands of Tifosi turn out for the Cavallino Classic. Based in Palm Beach, Prancing Horse aficionados converge on the resort town that is also an island for a four-day convention celebrating the art of a certain Italian automobile. While there was a preponderance of rosso corsa (race red) on the greens, the objects of Enzo's intentions displayed a surprisingly vivid pallet that ranged from silver to yellow, to blue metallic and even Dennis Nicotra's inspiring 1953 matte black-finished 166MM, making its debut after an extensive restoration.
