Mon, 15 Oct 2007By Damion Smy Motor Shows 15 October 2007 02:22 Is that really a new LandCruiser? It is, and Toyota Australia’s senior executive director sales and marketing, David Buttner, said the unveiling of the LandCruiser in Sydney reflected the significant role the LandCruiser has played in Toyota’s dominant position in the Australian market. Louis Vuitton Classic Concours d'Elegance 2004
Fri, 11 Jun 2004June 11, 2004 - While the British Motor Show seems to have degenerated into a low-brow car carnival, shunned by some manufacturers and most designers, Britain still hosts some of the best classic car events in Europe that can attract top entries and enthusiasts alike. Last week, the 14th Louis Vuitton Classic was held at Waddesdon Manor, near Oxford, UK, a fabulous Renaissance-style chateau built by the Rothschilds in 1874 and set in 2500 acres of landscaped grounds. This year the event was open to the public for the first time and appeared to challenge the celebrated Goodwood Festival of Speed for the sheer quality of exhibits, number of celebrities and a suitably glamorous setting.
MG3 Trophy Championship Concept previews MG Hot Hatch
Tue, 01 Jul 2014MG3 Trophy Championship Concept (pictured) previews a future MG Hot Hatch The revival of MG so far has been about delivering rather prosaic Chinese cars given a gloss of credibility with and MG badge. But if MG are to succeed they really need to use some of the heritage of MG to grab buyers attention. That probably means a credible hot hatch rather than a traditional MG Roadster, so the arrival of the MG3 Trophy Championship Concept at MG’s 90th birthday celebrations at the weekend is perhaps a good pointer of the sort of direction we could see from MG in the coming years.
