Seadoo Cleaned/rebuilt Single Carb 717 Mikuni Sbn 40 Carburetor Gti Gts Gs Gsi on 2040-parts.com
Saginaw, Michigan, United States
Cleaned/rebuilt carb from 1998 Seadoo GTI with 717 engine. This single SBN-40 Mikuni is jetted for any 717 single carb engine and set to run with an accelerator pump.
This has a 175 main jet, 67.5 low, 1.5 Needle, and adjustment screws are set to stock factory settings. The accelerator pump is indeed operational. Comes with brand new mounting bolts and washers. Carbs should require no adjustments other than possibly tweaking your idle speed to your liking via the idle stop screw. I have gone through these completely and cleaned everything up, greased all springs/ pivot points/adjustment screws, and replaced any internal components that I decided were in need of replacement with OEM Mikuni parts. Also, all internal fasteners have been switched to stainless allen head (see my other items for details, I sell these in a kit), to improve reliability and make rebuilding easier in the future. These have also been painted and clearcoated for additional corrosion protection.
If you are just looking for a cheap set of carbs to just keep your ski running long enough so you can sell it to your brother in law, these probably aren't for you. I rebuild a lot of watercraft carbs and I put forth a lot of time and effort in order to ensure they are trouble free for a very long time. But don't just take my word for it, I will guarantee these carbs to give you zero problems after installation and even for the next 3 years (as long as you store your Seadoo properly ***e.g. Fog, fuel stabilizer, dry place, seat off***. Comes with brand new mounting bolt set, choke set screws, linkages etc. Essentially, you buy these, put your gasket underneath and tighten 2 bolts, attach throttle and choke cables, attach feed and return fuel hoses, and ride. I will even include the old gasket If you need it in a pinch.
All my parts come from freshwater skis and are in good working condition, unless otherwise noted. I won't sell parts made in China. All my new parts are made in the same country as they were originally produced. Please contact me if there is a certain part you are looking for, as I have parts for several different Seadoos and often times have a good idea of which parts work with which skis. If you save me from having to list an item here on Ebay, I can give you a discount. Blake: 989-492-8053 |

September sales hint at improvement
Tue, 04 Oct 2011A 10 percent increase in new-vehicle sales in September is sparking optimism that the year will have a strong finish. And analysts say that deals might get better over the next few months as Toyota and Honda finally recover from shortages caused by the earthquake that hit Japan in March. Those brands might increase spending on incentives to woo buyers back into their showrooms.
New 2013 Nissan LEAF goes the ‘Battery Lease’ route UPDATED
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Even though you will be paying the same rate as you did in the first year, you’ll have to make do with the old batteries unless they fall below the 9 bar level, when Nissan will replace them under warranty. There is no doubt that Nissan are still convinced the future is the electric car, and the LEAF – the world’s best-selling electric car – is the future of motoring. And the LEAF is a convincing car if all you want is a well-built family car to transport you round your local area, even if it will cost an arm and a leg to buy in comparison to an ICE car.
Lamborghini MLC is the Lambo SUV
Wed, 22 Feb 2012What we think will be the Lamborghini MLC The new Lamborghini SUV will be called the Lamborghini MLC and will debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April. At the start of the month we revealed that the rumour of a Lamborghini SUV were not rumours but fact, after an Audi manager confirmed that Lamborghini would be entering the super-luxury SUV with their first offering in the sector since the LM002. And now we know it’s going to be the Lamborghini MLC.
