PLEASE READ - This is the front compartment shock/strut support from a 2001 SeaDoo GTX, but will fit some other SeaDoo waverunners.  The shock is functional, but force required to open and closer the compartment is less than ideal.  The shock is strong enough to hold the compartment open on calm water, only.  It was replaced with a stronger shock since the compartment lid wouldn't stay open while rocking on rougher days.
