Duesenbergs sweep honors at Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance
Mon, 14 Mar 2011Two of the 29 Duesenbergs on display at the 16th Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance took the Best in Show honors on Sunday at the gathering in north Florida. The Amelia Island concours awards two top honors, one for sporting cars and one for elegance. Harry Yeaggy's 1935 Duesenberg SJ Speedster, also known as the “Mormon Meteor,” won Best in Show Concours De Sport, while Helen and Jack Nethercutt's 1933 Duesenberg SJN Arlington Torpedo Sedan was awarded Best in Show Concours De Elegance.
Bernie Ecclestone wants Saab – Spyker make new bid

There’s no point re-hashing the history – if you read here regularly you’ll have had your fill of the story that’s more like a Soap Opera than a business deal, but if you want all the back stories just look under Saab. Sat, 22 Sep 2012Lewis Hamilton posted a stunning lap time to take pole position in tomorrow’s Singapore Grand Prix ahead of the Williams of Pastor Maldonado. All the talk about Lewis Hamilton may have been about a move to Mercedes this week, but under the lights at Singapore today it was all about his stunning lap that captured pole position for tomorrow’s race. Hamilton posted a time of 46:362 to take pole – his third pole in four races – almost half a second in front of second place man Pastor Maldonado in the Williams.
