Report: Britain averaged over 50mpg in 2013

The institution analysed efficiency figures for all new cars sold in the UK in 2013, working out the average CO2 emissions from the 2.26 million cars sold in Britain last year and coming up with a figure of 128.3g/km. Hennessey Performance upgrades the Ford Mustang Boss 302
Wed, 31 Aug 2011The tuner guys at Hennessey Performance took the Ford Mustang Boss 302 behind their curtain, plopped a supercharger on top--among other things--and headed to the drag strip. The outcome? Hennessey says 11.9 seconds at 124 mph for the quarter-mile--and that's with a 0-to-60-mph time at a Porsche-like 3.9 seconds.
Ford Mustang 50th celebration gets two venues
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Ford is planning for a big turnout next year, April 16-20, for the Mustang's 50th birthday party. So big, in fact, that it secured two venues on opposite sides of the country: Charlotte and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Those venues will provide 282,000 seats for fans of the pony car, as well as a boatload of space in the infield and nearby.
