Condition:Used

I have for sale, a very nice used seat mounting platform, that will allow you to turn 360 degrees and move for and aft a few inches.  This measures 12.5 inches by 9.5 inches.  The center is 3 inches in diameter.  Simply bolt it to the bottom of a seat and slip on the post.
Just reach under the seat to adjust as you need.

This is a very nice unit, works smooth and is not worn or sloppy.  The lock works great and so does the slide.  It is made out of aluminum plate and is in great shape.

New ones, of this quality, list for $109  too $135.

Millionth Range Rover presented to Jezza for Help for Heroes

Sun, 07 Nov 2010

Jezza gets the millionth Range Rover together with Lance Corporal Matt Croucher and Private Derek Derenalagi It’s a very large number of Range Rovers, 1,000,000. Although you do have to remember that is a production number over a forty year period. Still, long time or not it’s a milestone for the first proper luxury SUV to achieve, and in its fortieth year of production just to make the maths nice and easy – 25,000 a year.

Swathed in cream leather, the Estoque’s interior is dominated by a huge transmission tunnel that divides the cockpit into four individual zones, each with its own bucket seat. There’s a razor-sharp, angular theme at work in the cabin: even the column stalks are hexagonal.

Ford invents agile, low-cost solution for prototyping, customization and limited production [w/video]

A new metal forming technique pioneered by Ford that drastically reduces the time and cost of producing low-volume and one-off body parts may lead to cost-effective customization, redesigns, one-offs and limited production runs. Ford Freeform Fabrication Technology (F3T) forms sheets of metal by two stylus-like tools, one on each side of the surface. Using CAD data they form the part to the exacting strength and finish tolerances usually associated with stamping dies.
