A look at Chevrolet future products

Thu, 26 Jul 2012

Based on Chevrolet's vehicle launches over the past few years, a casual observer might not know that General Motors' bow-tie brand still makes trucks. Well-received entries such as the Cruze compact and Sonic subcompact have helped transcend Chevy's image as a trucks-and-sports-cars brand. In coming months, the transformation of Chevy's car lineup will continue with the launches of the Spark minicar, two new engines in the redesigned Malibu and the long-awaited next-generation Impala, due early next year.

Ferrari to revive GTO name

Tue, 16 Mar 2010

Ferrari is set to return the evocative GTO (Gran Turismo Omolagato) name to its lineup on a limited-edition, two-seat version of the F599 Fiorano GTB. The new car, conceived to run bodywork and mechanical components from the Italian carmaker's race-bound 599XX, is expected to make its public debut at the Paris motor show in September--marking the first time the GTO badge has been applied to one of Ferrari's road cars since the launch of the much-revered 288 GTO in 1984. Among the changes brought to the new car is a series of carbon-fiber exterior panels, a stripped-out interior and specially developed alloy wheels--all aimed at lowering the weight by 132 pounds from the 3,718 pounds of the F599 Fiorano GTB.

Porsche Panamera (2009) first photos, video, podcast and... jazz song!

Mon, 15 Sep 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 15 September 2008 14:00 This is the first undisguised photograph of the new Porsche Panamera four-door saloon. It may be lacking disguise, but there's precious little we can see in this artfully cropped first picture of the Panamera. Although it offers an annoyingly restricted view, this is the first time we've seen Stuttgartā€™s new gran turismo.
