Fernandes confirms Team Lotus-Caterham deal

Wed, 27 Apr 2011

Tony Fernandes has officially confirmed that Team Lotus Enterprises has taken over tiny British sports-car maker Caterham Cars. The company is now based in Dartford, close to the Brands Hatch race circuit.

The SMMT said its study showed how EU membership benefited the industry, such as access to a single market and funding for research and development.
