Toyota offers peek at redesigned 2012 Camry

A redesigned 2012 Toyota Camry sedan is coming this fall--and Toyota is cranking up the marketing machine. On Wednesday, Toyota posted a teaser photo of the 2012 Camry--a look at the car's left-front corner, showing the headlamp, hood, a flared wheel arch and the windshield. You can also see a fog light, a clue that this is one of the higher trim levels of the Camry family.

Honda has glued a few glitzy bits to the latest Civic in recognition of its British Touring Car Championship participation, to create the new Civic Ti. The 5-door ‘race-inspired’ Civic is based on the 1.8 SE model, but comes with colour-coded wheel arches and some 17-inch ‘Le Mans’ alloy wheels. ECC pulls out of ‘Spy-in-the-sky’ road charging trials

Essex County Council, in a show of uncommon common sense, has pulled out of trials for the new ‘Spy in the Sky’ road charging tax. Road pricing trials halted in Essex Secret trials of a new system to charge motorists by the mile were due to roll out in Essex, Leeds, North Yorkshire, Buckinghamshire, London, and Suffolk, trialing the technology that would enable the government to charge motorists based on where they drive and when they drive. But the whole trial has been put in doubt after ECC announced they were no longer prepared to take part.
