Hyundai Intrado revealed before Geneva
Tue, 25 Feb 2014The Hyundai Intrado crossover debuts next week at the Geneva motor show, but the company revealed some pictures and information about the car on Monday. The Intrado is the first concept produced under the direction of Peter Schreyer, who became Hyundai president and chief design officer last January. Hyundai says the Intrado demonstrates the company's belief that advanced vehicle technologies and intelligent design can combine to engage with drivers and passengers.

But that’s now changed, with AMG’s Christoph Jung telling AutoExpress that Mercedes and AMG are currently working on a smaller SLS, to go head-to-head with cars like the Porsche 911 and Audi R8. Interestingly, we’d thought that Mercedes would go the route of a mid-engined two-seater for the baby SLS, and that it would probably get a turbo V6. But it would appear not.
Toyota says software glitch in data boxes can give faulty speed readings
Tue, 14 Sep 2010A top Toyota executive says the crash data boxes in its vehicles are reliable but a bug in the software that reads the information can provide inaccurate vehicle speeds. The disclosure comes as the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration continues its investigation into unintended acceleration of Toyota models. “Toyota has acknowledged previously that the event data recorders are not accurate,” said Takeshi Uchiyamada, executive vice president in charge of research and development.
