We think Gordon – creator of the McLaren F1 – is on exactly the right track for City Cars – either the T.25 or it’s electric sibling the T.27 – looking to create cheap to manufacture, small, light and very strong cars powered by either a small, 3-pot engine or by an electric motor. BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Review It comes as something of a shock to realise that the BMW 3 Series has been around for thirty five years, not least since I remember its launch and the stir it caused by offering as it did not just a stylish compact saloon car, but one which offered both prestige and performance. It was also streets ahead of what, until the 3-Series came along, we thought of as a cracking little BMW – the BMW 2002. Thirty five years is a huge amount of time in the world of cars and the 3-Series has changed out of all recognition in the intervening time.

BMW has revised the 3 Series Convertible and Coupe for 2010. It’s not actually that long until we’re due a new 3 Series from BMW (2011) but that doesn’t mean BMW are sitting on the current BMW 3 Series waiting for it to turn up its toes next year. They’re still tweaking and titivating and have revealed a round of changes for the 2010 Coupe and Convertible (which will be the 2011 MY in the US) – a facelift before the end is probably the best way to look at it.
