This is a 'no reserve' auction, so the opening bid can win it.

This is a serviced, great working original 1961 CHEVROLET Delco pushbutton radio # 988414 with original knobs AND front-rear speaker fader control .  This radio will also 'fit' 1962, but there were some cosmetic differences.   Power & front speaker connector w/pigtails(NOT SHOWN) are also included.

This radio has been fully serviced...internally/externally cleaned, lubricated, adjusted and bench tested.     Many NEW parts including ALL the electrolytic capacitors, several foil/paper capacitors and several key resistors.   ALL the tubes have been removed, tested, and replaced if weak or even borderline.   The volume/tone is NEW.   The sound is loud and clear.   There is no crackling heard when adjusting the volume or tone.  Tunes smoothly.   All the pushbuttons set & work fine.  The lens has been removed & buffed to nice condition.    The knobs are nice originals.   This radio works like new .  The chrome face has some weathering.

180 day warranty.    Comes as shown.

Ask questions  before bidding.   Winner to pay S&H.   Payment is due within 7 days of the close of the auction.    NJ residents are charged 7% state sales tax. I will not cover damages caused by improper installation, burnouts resulting from incorrect, shorted or open speakers.

Speaker(s) MUST BE 8 - 10 OHM!

2015 Audi A3 to star in Super Bowl XLVIII ad

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

The 2015 Audi A3 will be the star of Audi's 2014 Super Bowl ad, the seventh consecutive year that the automaker will be airing a commercial spot during the sporting event. You might have seen last year's "Prom" campaign by Audi (the video above) or the even more memorable "Vampire Party" from 2012, featuring the Audi S7. Another recent Audi Super Bowl ad that the Internet seemed to like was 2011's "Release the Hounds" spot for the Audi A8, mocking old luxury...at Mercedes-Benz's expense, we might add.

Bentley Continental GTC Speed Launches

Tue, 06 Jan 2009

However hard I try, and however much the Continental GT is denigrated as a ‘Footballers Car’, I can’t help loving it, and its soft-top sibling the GTC. When I first drove the GT I have to admit I was a little disappointed. Only a little, mind you, as it is unarguably a great car.
