Aston Martin has released this rendering of its new V12 Zagato racer, which will compete at the Nurburgring this summer. The 2011 Aston Martin V12 Zagato made its world debut at the Villa D'Este concours d'elegance at the weekend, where it won the Concorso d’Eleganza Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes. Fiat gets approval to purchase Bertone coachbuilding business

Fiat S.p.A.'s bid for Carrozzeria Bertone S.p.A. was approved Thursday by the Italian government. Fiat will invest $215.9 million (150 million euros) over three years in the struggling contract manufacturer that has produced models ranging from the Lamborghini Miura to the Volkswagen Polo during its 96 years in business.

Honda aims for 30 percent carbon-emissions cut

Honda Motor Co. says it aims to reduce carbon emissions from its products globally by 30 percent from 2000 levels by the end of this decade. The new carbon-reduction goal is outlined in Honda's 2011 annual environmental report.
