Some isolated minor checking mostly around the tire beads. Need scrubbing up including whitewalls. Remnants of white marker by previous owner. Most of original tags are gone.
Brand:Traction Master Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

These were in a 3-sided shed behind a restoration shop for many years but were never used for whatever they were purchased for. They have collected some dust and dirt, the worst of which has been scrubbed off but could use some more. Maybe even some dress up white on the whitewall and tire black on the other. They are mud and snow tires with fairly aggressive tread and holes for studs. The paper labels they came with are about all gone. In the tire ads in Hemmings there are a few 6.00x15 but not the 6.00x15L that these show. They may be a special run for a particular car, maybe an older Triumph or MG,they are pretty skinny. A guy at a local tire shop said they were made in 1997,they won't mount anything over ten years old so they wouldn't mount these. They do have minor checking around the bead area. Some tires are not safe after a few years so I would suggest anyone that might be interested in these, use your own judgement. They have 2 bias plys and are tubeless. Tubes can be used in them. If you drive your small, older car in the winter and need traction but not entering the Great American Race, maybe these would work for you. They will be sent Fedex Ground. Shipping amount includes recycled box, packing, shipping to lower 48 and insurance,no other fees or costs.

We think this is actually the fourth version of the Tesla Roadster since it first arrived on our roads – which means there’s a facelift every 250 cars or so.

Lotus V8: the new engine plan in full

Thu, 23 Jun 2011

Lotus has confirmed details for its new inhouse V8 engine family, which will make its first road car appearance in the 2013 Esprit. Responding to feedback which said the 'New Era' plan to launch five new models was weakened by its reliance on Toyota engines, the new management team decided last Christmas to design and develop its own engine. 'The feedback from customers was "how can you justify a £100,000 car with a Toyota engine?",' said chief executive Dany Bahar.

New Ferrari California T gets its UK debut

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

The new Ferrari California T gets its UK debut Ferrari’s entry-level model – the Ferrari California – was not the most loved of Ferrari’s, with Ferrari ‘Anoraks’ proclaiming it a cynical marketing exercise by Ferrari. That didn’t stop the California selling well, but five years on from when the California arrived Ferrari has decided to make the California more focused with the arrival of the new Ferrari California T at the Geneva Motor Show. Ferrari Anoraks still had room to moan, mind you, as the California T eschews the naturally aspirated route and goes turbo for the first time in a Ferrari since the F40.
