Set Of (4) Used Maxxis Ht3 Racing Go Kart Tires on 2040-parts.com

Location:

Durham, North Carolina, United States

Durham, North Carolina, United States
Condition:Remanufactured

Up for auction is a set of 4 used Maxxis HT3 racing go kart tires. The tires were professionally mounted and then ran for approximately 25-35 laps on all four. They have then been professionally mounted using Larry Jones tire rings on August 12th, 2016 and wet sanded using three grades of progressively finer sandpaper. They have been stored in a climate controlled environment and are ready to hit the track. All the tires are used, so they do have some scrapes and scratches from incidental racing contact (mostly on the side that was run to the outside). One tire in particular has some rubbing on the inside of the tire, but it does not affect it's functionality. The specifics for the set are as follows:

4 - 12.0 x 9.00 - 6 used Maxxis HT3 tires without wheels.  These tires measured 34" in circumference with 8 lbs of air when they were mounted on 10" wide wheels.  They have approximately .058-.060 rubber remaining on one set, and .055-.060 on the other.

I'm starting the auction at $.99 and will sell to the highest bidder regardless of price so bid accordingly!

Shipping for this auction will be a flat rate of $25.00 anywhere in the continental US

Please view the photos in high resolution!

Thanks!

VW Passat: New distance world record

Mon, 04 Oct 2010

VW Passat World distance Record When you as old as I am (or at least as old as I feel) you can’t help but be astonished at the feats of economy car makers seem able to wring from even quite serious, upmarket cars. Yesterday we reported on the Mercedes S250 CDI which manages to perform like a 1990s V8 S-Class whilst simultaneously doing nearly 50mpg. Which to an old git like me – who thought his 3.0 litre Capri in his teen years was doing well if it got 18mpg – is a bit hard to acccept.

Driven: BMW Z4

Mon, 01 Jun 2009

Loved as it may be by its loyal fanbase, the outgoing Z4 was always something of a mixed bag in terms of design. While the car's classic long-bonnet, cab-back profile and short overhangs should have pleased the eye, the BMW's sheer frontal mass made its proportions seem out of balance. The application of the company's then-new ‘flame surfacing' form language also generated a visual business that seemed out of place on something as conceptually simple as a roadster.
