Up for auction is my collection of genuine vintage Motion Performance catalogs and guides saved as pdf's on a CD. Complete clear scanned copies of all 10 of the catalogs pictured are included, as well as three additional catalogs/brochures. Also included on the CD are 700+ photo's showing Motion cars, dozens of classic Motion magazine ads, copies of magazine covers/articles, and other miscellaneous Motion stuff etc. The actual vintage catalogs are not for sale.
In addition, there are 3 video episodes from a "popular" TV car show which shall go unnamed for obvious reasons...but they contain features on Baldwin Motion cars and/or other vintage supercars. I've collected these as a Motion fan after purchasing a Motion Nova tribute car (pictured). Individual "copies" of some of these same catalogs on CD currently sell on ebay for $10-$15 each, but you get 13 total catalogs plus all the extras for a great low price!! I previously sold a few of these copies individually on ebay, but decided to put them all together on one CD for all you Motion fanatics out there!! Each catalog has been scanned and then copied onto a CD in Adobe PDF format so you can view the materials on your computer or print them out. The catalog scans are clear and you can easily make out all page details, text, descriptions, prices etc. Many of the magazine ads and articles can be read and printed out as well. However, a few of them are merely for show as neat Motion info as I may have gotten them from the internet and therefore the content is not perfectly clear. Audi A3 g-tron revealed
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Audi has revealed the A3 g-tron Sportback ahead of the Geneva Motor Show, an A3 that runs on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and petrol. The A3 g-tron is powered by a tweaked version of Audi’s 1.4 litre TSI petrol engine which can run on both -gas and petrol, with the A3 g-tron normally using the petrol just for start-up and switching over to e-gas as soon as it’s running. Audi has provided two fillers under a common fuel flap – one for e-gas and one for petrol – with the A3 g-tron producing a total of 108bhp with the dual-fuel setup, enough to power the A3 g-tron to 62mph in 11 seconds.
Imre Molnar memorial service announced
Tue, 08 Jan 2013Imre Molnar will be honored in a memorial service this month, the College for Creative Studies (CCS) has confirmed. CCS President Richard Rogers has announced that on 20 January at 3.00pm (EST) all who knew Molnar are welcome to attend the service and share with his family in a remembrance of his life. Molnar, who was the college provost, passed away during the holiday season after riding his bicycle in California and suffering a fatal heart attack on the afternoon of 28 December.

Despite still being probably the most iconic car ever made it’s finally reached middle-age, with the big 5-0 arriving in March at Geneva. Understandably, Jaguar has made the most of the anniversary of the E-Type by rolling out E-Types at every event they could, but perhaps the most appropriate event for the E-Type to headline at has been this weekend’s Goodwood revival, a veritable cornucopia of nostalgic and historic motoring goodness.
