Set of NOS 1969-73 Porsche 911 912 Bosch Euro Turn Signal Lenses w/ Silver Trim

If you've been looking for a pair of these, you know EXACTLY how hard they are to find. They are, without a doubt, the proverbial "hen's teeth".

I bought these lenses directly from the dealer many years ago and they've been sitting on a shelf ever since. These are authentic, Bosch lenses - with the correct markings - but these lenses were purchased after Bosch had moved their manufacturing to the Czech Republic from Germany and the quality of these Czech-manufactured lenses is not as high as the original German lenses. They're still nice parts but the coloring isn't as even and there's some slight yellowing to the silver trim. I've included multiple high resolution photos so you can see the exact condition for yourself.

Even so, these were the last series of lenses to have the correct Bosh markings which make them highly sought-after in today's crazy Porsche marketplace. They're also about half the price of German NOS lenses so they're an excellent alternative for someone seeking quality lenses at a more reasonable price.

For U.S. customers, I will ship these items for free.

For international customers, the shipping and customs quote for this item is based on the eBay Global Shipping Program. Depending on the country in which you reside, there may be less expensive shipping options available. If you wish to explore other shipping options, you must contact me for a shipping quote before making your purchase. If you make your purchase (by using Buy It Now) before contacting me, I will be unable to offer you alternative shipping methods.

I’m not a dealer and I don’t do this to make a living. I’m a collector who owns more than a dozen vintage Porsches and the parts I have for sale on eBay are all parts that, at one time or another, were purchased for one of my cars or were actually on one of my cars. I own some of the finest Porsches in the world. I don’t own junk and I don’t sell junk. Thanks for looking.

The best bits of Monterey Car Week 2014: a Pebble Beach photo gallery

Mon, 18 Aug 2014

CAR’s Ben Oliver is just back from the races, auctions and shows of Monterey Car Week, culminating in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Here’s his completely unrepresentative photo-diary: as you’ll see, he got most excited by the oddball Concours de LeMons… The standard of restoration required to exhibit at the Concours de LeMons is a little lower than at the other Monterey Car Week events. This is the kind of thing you see parked on the street during Monterey Car Week: the Blastolene Brothers Dream Rod, with its 2000bhp, 41-litre Packard tank engine.
