Up for sale is a set of used but in very good condition rear springs for a VW Golf GTI VR6 (MK4 / MK-IV) as pictured. Springs have less than 50K miles on them. There are two silver and two orange dots as pictured. These springs will fit any front wheel drive MK-IV VW Golf except the AWD R32 and except certain European AWD MK-IVs. However, for liability limitation reasons, it is the buyer's responsibility to verify the applicability of these springs in any other application other than in a VW Golf VR6 GTI (MK4 / MK-IV platform).

Jaguar Land Rover installs UK's largest solar roof

THE LARGEST EVER solar panel roof has been completed at the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) engine factory in South Staffordshire. More than 21,000 solar cells have been fitted to the roof over the Engine Manufacturing Centre and will provide enough electricity to power 30% of the factory’s needs. When the solar panels are working at full capacity, they will generate enough energy to power the equivalent of 1600 homes.

Toyota recalls 2011 Tundras for drive-shaft safety issue

Toyota is voluntarily recalling about 51,000 copies of the 2011 Tundra pickup to screen for a rear drive-shaft issue. Improper metal casting could cause part of the shaft to break, Toyota said. So far, Toyota is aware of one such occurrence in a customer-owned vehicle.

Audi to engineer next Porsche Cayenne

Audi will develop Volkswagen group's Porsche Cayenne, VW Touareg and Audi Q7 large SUVs in the future. Currently, Porsche has responsibility for engineering the three models, which share the same underpinnings. The decision to transfer developement to Audi comes after Porsche was chosen instead of Audi to be the lead developer for large luxury sedans and sports cars within VW group.
