Utilizing only daily calibrated state of the art CNC equipment, working in unison along with extremely highly qualified master craftsmen, SGI crankshafts has incorporated all the precision and detail with high production capabilities in a mass array of applications and designs.  SGI C3-302 series Crankshafts features: 4340 AQ Chromoly steel non-twist forgings; Multiple stage heat treatments; X-rayed; Magnafluxed and Sonic tested; Completely CNC machined with a two step micro polishing on the journals; Oil passages are cross drilled; Crankshafts are plasma nitrated to a minimum depth of .060; 3D exclusively designed arrow counterweights and gun drilled mains for 20% less crankcase windage than our competitors; 1 inch lightening holes in all 4 rod throws reduces rotating mass and helps eliminate the need of Mallory when balancing.

Choice A - Assembling Kits  AK1- Series of SBF 302:  SGI Rotating Kit includes AK3- assembled combo of  SGI forged 4340 steel crankshaft, SGI forged 4340 steel H or I beam rods with ARP 2000 cap screw bolts, forged aluminum pistons and Moly rings. Special requests may require two weeks to hit your door. All special requests must be prepaid, to insure receipt of your kit(s).

Notes on Forged 2168 High Strength Alloy Pistons: FTP - Flat Top, DTP - Dome, RDP - Reverse Dome, DIP – Dish Top, C/H - Chamber High, T/V - Top Volume, C/R – Compression.  Those marked “*” will work with twisted wedge heads only.  Others will not work with twisted wedge heads.
