Koons's BMW Art Car to race at Le Mans

BMW will field the latest in its long series of Art Cars at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, June 12-13. This is the 17th Art Car commissioned by BMW. Jeff Koons follows others such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Jenny Holzer in designing an Art Car.

Mazda Mazda has issued this solitary teaser image of the new Hazumi concept car, which will be unveiled fully at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Mazda Hazumi will give plenty of clues about the next generation Mazda 2 supermini, bound for showrooms in 2015. Honda unveils Insight Hybrid

Honda has released the first official images of the Prius-fighting Honda Insight, which is due to launch in the New Year at the Detroit Motor Show, and be in UK Car showrooms in the Spring of 2009. Honda has been sceptical about the future of the Hybrid/Electric car, and has expressed the view that it believes the long term future lies in Hydrogen powered EVs, rather than EVs per se. But this is a sensible move by Honda to take away sales from the Toyota Prius.
