I would put an Excel graph here, but just imagine a line going up at a 45-degree angle to infinity. Mazda Miata roadster passes 900,000-built milestone

The MX-5 Miata originally set the record in May 2000, when production reached 531,890 units. But the record was updated when production reached 700,000 units and again when production reached 800,000 units.

Yesterday, a pair of Tesla Model S sedans driven by a rotating squadron of 15 company employees set what they hope will be an electric record for cross-country travel. That team arrived in New York City Sunday morning Feb.
