Shieldsflex II Marine Water/Exhaust Hose (w/wire) – Series No. 250

Shieldsflex II Marine Water/Exhaust Hose has a black synthetic rubber tube and cover. It is reinforced with wire helix imbedded between plies of HD synthetic cord. It is resistant to exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, anitfreeze and saltwater. This hose is abrasion and odor permeation resistant. It now has double the ozone resistance required by the SAEJ2006. Shieldsflex II is primarily used for engine intake, wet exhaust connections (use where bends or long lengths are required), bilge pump intake/discharge, scupper lines, toilet intake/discharge, and holiding tank vent/pump out. The temperature ranges from -20° F – +200°F continuous, +250°F intermittent. The hose meets SAE J2006 Type R2 standards.

It looks like Mercedes could be planning a 700bhp Black Series version of the SLS AMG Gullwing Currently, the top of the AMG Black Series tree is the SL65 Black. An awesome machine, but a bit of a lost soul. It loses the one thing that makes the SL special – the trick roof – and replaces it with a wave of power that isn’t actually that easy to put down on the road.
